Day 1 : Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater | 1 Night

Our driver will pick you up in Arusha for a full-day tour of Ngorongoro Crater, complete with a picnic hot lunch on the way. You’ll descend 2,000 feet into the crater in a 4WD vehicle to explore this stunning natural wonder, often referred to as ‘Africa’s Eden’. The caldera, formed 2.5 million years ago, is 22.5 km wide, with rim walls standing 600m high, and hosts around 30,000 animals year-round. After a day of adventure, we’ll return to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park for an exciting full-day game viewing experience. The park’s vast plains and diverse ecosystems provide a prime opportunity to witness Africa’s most iconic wildlife in their natural habitat.

Serengeti is renowned for hosting a thriving population of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros—making it a top destination for wildlife enthusiasts. The park’s well-balanced ecosystem supports a rich variety of resident animals, ensuring spectacular sightings year-round.

With an estimated 3,000 lions, the Serengeti boasts the largest lion population in Africa, thriving due to an abundant prey base. Additionally, the elusive African leopard is frequently spotted in the Seronera region, with around 1,000 leopards spread across the park. These majestic predators offer unforgettable safari encounters in one of the world’s most famous wildlife reserves.

Days 3-4: Serengeti North (Mara River)

After a hearty breakfast at the camp, depart with your picnic lunch for an exciting journey to North Serengeti. This region is home to thriving resident wildlife, particularly in the Wagakuria area, which hosts a pride of up to 30 strong lions. From June to September, Serengeti North transforms into a wildlife haven, with the Mara River becoming the focal point of the Great Migration.

In this period, the Mara River is a hotspot for the Great Migration as massive herds attempt to cross its waters, creating one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on Earth. From July to October, game viewing is at its peak, with river crossings occurring daily. The herds move back and forth, crossing in multiple directions as they follow the rains and the fresh grass growth.

After a thrilling day of wildlife encounters and witnessing the incredible river crossings, return to Camp and wait for more adventure.
