Your adventure begins early in the morning, with pick-up arranged from your hotel in Zanzibar (exact timing depends on your location). At 6:00 AM, our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, your driver-guide will greet you and share fascinating insights about Arusha’s rich history and the culture of the Maasai people as you travel approximately 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Known for its incredible biodiversity, Tarangire National Park is home to vast herds of elephants, diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to open savannahs, and the picturesque Tarangire River winding through its expanse. Keep your eyes peeled for lions stalking their prey or leopards lounging gracefully in the treetops.
Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park as part of your thrilling game drive, which wraps up around 4:00 PM. Afterward, you’ll head to your lodge to unwind, savor a delicious dinner, and relax in preparation for the next day’s adventures.
After a delicious breakfast, we will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an extraordinary game drive. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its natural and cultural significance, the Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique opportunity to witness the Big Five—lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and the rare black rhino. As you descend into the crater, you’ll also encounter diverse bird species, including flamingos gracing the crater lakes, all within a stunning natural environment. Be prepared for close encounters with a variety of wildlife in this breathtaking ecosystem. After an exciting day of game drives, we will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM as we prepare for the final leg of our safari. We will head to Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Known for its unique landscapes, the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, and diverse bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara. Enjoy an exciting game drive through lush forests and open savannahs. After the safari, we will head back to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Your flight will depart from Arusha at 4:30 PM and arrive in Zanzibar at 5:45 PM.
