Terms and Conditions.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sept Safaris! By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you and Sept Safaris.

2. Booking and Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit has been received and a confirmation email is sent.
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the tour cost is required to secure your booking.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the tour. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation.
  • Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, major credit cards, and mobile payment options where applicable.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Client:
    • More than 60 days before the tour: Deposit is forfeited.
    • 30-59 days before the tour: 50% of the total tour cost is forfeited.
    • Less than 30 days before the tour: 100% of the tour cost is forfeited.
  • Cancellation by Sept Safaris: In rare cases, Sept Safaris may cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will offer a full refund or an alternative tour arrangement.

4. Changes to Booking

  • By Client: Any requests to alter tour dates or itinerary must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the tour. Additional charges may apply.
  • By Sept Safaris: We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries if required for operational reasons or client safety. In such cases, alternatives of similar value will be provided.

5. Travel Insurance

  • Mandatory: All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal liability, trip cancellations, and other potential risks.

6. Health and Safety

  • Health Requirements: Certain tours may involve strenuous activity. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate and should consult their physician if necessary.
  • Medical Emergencies: Sept Safaris is not responsible for any health issues that arise during the tour. However, we will assist in coordinating medical support where possible.

7. Liability and Responsibility

  • Sept Safaris’ Liability: We are committed to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all clients. However, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen events, such as acts of nature, accidents, or third-party negligence.
  • Client’s Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to act responsibly and abide by local laws and customs. Sept Safaris reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate.

8. Passports, Visas, and Vaccinations

  • Passport and Visa: All clients are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and ensuring their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the tour date.
  • Vaccinations: Clients are responsible for confirming and receiving any required vaccinations before entering Tanzania.

9. Photography and Marketing

  • Photography: Sept Safaris may take photographs during tours. By participating, you consent to the use of such images in our marketing materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform our team in advance.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through Tanzanian courts.

11. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

  • By booking with Sept Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
